Meet The Owner:
Vincent Nardone
My name is Vincent Nardone, and this is my dream job.
As a kid, I was obsessed with cars. From watching BBC’s Top Gear to playing Gran Turismo. I want to tell stories and bring people's passions and triumphs to light for generations to come.
I began my editing/video career a little differently than most probably would. I am completely self taught, and started off by creating cinematics using Assetto Corsa's in game camera software. I had a lot of spare time during Covid, using Youtube university as a foundation to build my skills. From there it was practice, practice and more practice. Days, weeks, months, and then some. Eventually I wanted to escape my digital shackles to apply what I've learned to the real world, but I didn't want to film myself, I wanted to tell other people's stories, thus started Petrolhead Studios.
Around the same time I was participating as a driver in time attack series’ locally, but wanted to check out Gridlife's first event in the Northeast. I packed up my gear and drove my track-prepped-race-seat-equipped Mustang from Boston down to NJMP. (Yes, I embrace suffering). What I didn't anticipate was that the relationships made during that trip would get me out of the driver seat to begin a snow-balling career developing content which would eventually propel me to filming at Pikes Peak for the mother of all hill climbs.
From story boarding & planning, to filming, editing and cc, I handled just about everything that is linked to my portfolio. This sole proprietor mentality has ultimately kept the price affordable for my clients. This is one of the key characteristics of PHS.
Racing, car culture, cinematics, ... I love all of it. I want my products to be great not because it will help monetize my time, but because I love this stuff that much. I owe it to the people I'm filming to make the best product humanely possible.
